Field Picker Filtering

If you're working in an Explore that has a large number of fields, it can take some time to find the field that you want in the field picker.

The field picker has a search/filter box at the top so you can type to find the fields you need - and there's a trick to make using this even quicker.

The search looks for all the patterns you enter separated by a space - so rather than typing out a full field name, enter a few characters of each word, and the field picker will show you fields which match all of these patterns. Very handy!

This filtering will also match words in the fields' descriptions, so you can find a field based on this more detailed information. And if you're a developer, you can use this fact to make the field picker even easier to navigate for yourself and your users.
